Kataonami Park is located in the Kataonami area within Waka Park, about which many poems were collected in Manyoshu for its scenic beauty. On the premises are Manyo Center, Health Center, Playground Equipment Square, Manyo Path, etc. Books and information materials about Manyoshu are displayed in the building, and visitors can experience the world of Manyo with live-action video and illustrations in the Kii Manyo Theater.
